My 10 Day Meditation Challenge, Day 9
(The 1st thing)
[ The Experience ]
103 days ago, I challenged myself to meditate and chant for 40 consecutive days.
The first thing I did this morning, after sleeping in till about 10:30AM, was meditate.
I say this because I am prone to doing it later in the day, as a break from the flow of things, to rejuvenate my mind and recenter my soul.
But, a challenge is meant to push you, so I figured I’d stretch my comfort zone and meditate first thing today.
I found that the rest of my day flowed, perhaps even better than it already flows every day. I noticed that my mind was definitely more still when I meditated first thing, as I had not been a-washed with the flow of life just yet.

[ The Takeaway ]
I can see myself doing my best to start the day with meditation more regularly; however, I know that realistically I will find just as much use doing meditation at any time of the day. The key is to make time to do it!
